Statement on Educational Opportunity

The NC TEACH Program is committed to equality of educational opportunity and does not discriminate against applicants, students, or employees based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age, or disability. Any complaints alleging the failure of this institution to follow this policy should be brought to the attention of the Executive Director of NC TEACH. Moreover, the program is open to people of all races and actively seeks to promote racial integration by recruiting and enrolling students from underrepresented minority groups.

Policy on Nondiscrimination

It is the policy of NC TEACH that educational and employment decisions should be based on an individual's abilities and qualifications and should not be based on irrelevant factors or personal characteristics that have no connection with academic abilities or job performance. Among the traditional factors that are generally "irrelevant" are race, sex, religion, and national origin.
